Is it correct to duplicate fluid of reconstitution and duplicate dose of antibiotic?

For example Cefepime 0.5 g is reconstituted with 5 ml normal saline, is it correct to reconstitute it with 10 normal saline and then duplicate its dose?

We don’t call it doubling the dose, as it is the same dose. You just doubles the volume in that case but with the same dose (amount).

The real question here is it correct to reconstitute the drug with that particular volume. The answer will be very different from drug to drug. Changing the volume and/or the solution (NS, D5W) can change the drug stability and physical and/or chemical integrity.
