Lasix Inhalation

Nebulized furosemide doses of 1 or 2 mg/kg may be effective in improving pulmonary mechanics in preterm infants with BPD, but recommendations on frequency and duration of therapy are limited.

1 mg/kg nebulized furosemide on 4 consecutive days at 24-hour intervals. The furosemide was diluted with 0.9% sodium chloride to a final volume of 2 mL.
