Do we need to make flushing after meronem and tienam IV administration & why?!

In Many cases, it’s recommended to flush between medications IV administration with a compatible solution for 2 reasons:

1. To avoid IV incompatibilities.

2. To make sure the total dose is delivered completely.

For example, Tienam is prepared using NS while Amphotericin is prepared using D5W and incompatible with NS. So, in case we administer Amphotericin after Tienam, it is a must to flush between them with D5W.
