For neonates (less than a 30 days age):

You will start on day 1 of life with a 60-140 ml/kg/day depending on the patient’s weight. Refer to the tables in the previous question.

Then you will increase gradually according to the table until you reach the target for age and weight.

Once the patient reached 30 days of age you will start to decrease gradually untill you reach 100ml/kg/day and you will continue on that as long as the patient’s weight is less than 10kg. Then use the second table provided in the previous question.
