Clindamycin is not a great option for Hospital Acquired MRSA and also is not a good option if the resistance rates are > 10% in the community or if the rates of resistance are unknown.
So, generally, I would recommend Vancomycin.

However, Clindamycin can be used as add-on therapy to cover anaerobes and to treat toxic shock syndrome or prevent it.
