The choice will depend on many patient’s factors you didn’t mention.

For example, is the patient hospitalized or not ? critically ill ? Mechanically ventilated ? The event of aspiration pneumonia happend in the community or in the hospital ? Immunocompromised ? Suspected MRSA ?
