Can we depend on Shift to left, if less than 0.2, or band, if less than 10, to decide not to give Abx ?

Shift more than 0.2 or bandemia (bands>=10) are signs of infection. However, starting or stopping antibiotics should not be only based on one of them, you should take into consideration the other labs, cultures, investigations and the clinical condition of the patient.
