Corticosteroids

MMR vaccination use is contraindicated in severely immunocompromised patients.

The ACIP does not recommend vaccination for persons taking systemic corticosteroid therapy for ≥2 weeks in doses of corticosteroids ≥2 mg/kg of body weight or prednisone (or equivalent) ≥20 mg/day for persons who weigh >10 kg.
