Amikacin maximum dose in pediatrics is different based on the indication. For example, when used for Mycobacterium treatment the maximum can be up to 1500mg/day.
Vancomycin, also is different based on the indication. For example, endocarditis can be treated with maximum up to 2000mg/day, while peritonitis with maximum up to 1000mg/day.
So check the indication first, then check for the maximum dose.
