Not all cardiac patients require fluid restriction. Some may require normal fluids.
The decision to restrict fluid for a patient is dependent on the diagnosed condition and on the patient characteristics.
It’s worth mentioning that the patient being on lasix, doesn’t by default mean he requires fluid restriction.
